We will have Special exhibitions and events throughout the 2025 season.

Crewkerne has a long and interesting history, having had the status of being a Saxon royal mint, importance as a coach stopping place for travellers and prosperity based on the textile industry.

Founded in 1988, the Museum illustrates these things, but equally shows how ordinary local people lived and worked at various periods. Some of the latest graphic techniques are used to enliven the multi gallery displays.
