The museum now has a lending library, situated on the landing, of local material.

This is available to the public at no cost and visitors are asked to record loans. Much of the material for the library was donated by the Andrew family. In recognition of the work carried out towards the success of the museum by Simon and Sylvia Andrew, the meeting room has now been renamed the Andrew Room.
