Volunteers from the museum planted crab apple trees at Ashlands Primary, Merriott Primary and Haselbury Plucknett Primary Schools during mid March. The grant funding received from Arts Council England in 2022 funded a “green” project and exhibition. The funding included an element for offsetting travel of participants and planting trees at local schools was agreed.
